The epicenter of California’s Silicon Valley is located in Cupertino. Well-known as the headquarters of Apple, neatly printed on the back of every computer, tablet, and phone box, locals dwell within modern homes adorned with the latest advancements in security, efficiency, and luxury. Main Street Cupertino is a mixed-use development offering retail, dining, gyms, and other businesses laid out as an inviting, old-fashioned town square. In addition to nationally recognized brands like OrangeTheory Fitness, Eureka!, and Marriott, Main Street Cupertino boasts a high number of favorite local businesses such as Koi Palace, Pineapple Thai, and Haidilao Hotpot.
The Apple Park Visitor Center is much more than just a shopping spot for the latest in tech. Located on Apple’s main campus, the Apple Park Visitor Center allows guests to experience virtual reality tours, enjoy light bites and drinks from their cafe, and take in views of the campus’ nearly 10,000 native trees.
Cupertino boasts some of the most agreeable weather in the United States and its location at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains has provided locals with some of the best hiking in the nation. The PG&E Trailhead is located just west of the Junipero Serra Freeway and features a loop just over eight miles. Nearby, the Black Mountain Trail stretches across nearly 10 miles and rewards visitors with panoramic views of the city and Bay from the top. In addition to exploring Main Street Cupertino, Silicon Valley is closely located to several other close-knit communities with their own downtown districts. These are also highly walkable, feature prominent local businesses, and host festive events throughout the year.
